Junior Leagues
The official bit… Rules and regulations
- The leagues will follow the FIH Indoor Hockey rules
- Matches will be played in 30 minute time slots: 7:15pm & 7.50pm. Games will consist of two 12 minutes halves with a 2 minute break at half time. There will be very little on pitch warm up time.
- Leagues will be played at a central venue - Patchway Community School sports centre.
- Players can play for multiple teams as long as they have registered with The Indoor Hockey League.
- Team managers must submit their team sheet at least an hour before start time - this is to support the NHS Track and Trace programme
- Each team must provide an umpire who will be allocated to umpire the game preceding or following their own
- Three points will be awarded for a win and one for a draw.
- In the event of a match being forfeited by a team, their opponents will be given a 10-0 win
- The first named team will provide the ball.
- In the event of a colour clash, the first named team should change colours.
