By registering your team to play in The Indoor Hockey League you agree to The Indoor Hockey League contacting you to provide further information on the league

Playing The Indoor Hockey League - Adult Leagues
Players
All players must have completed The Indoor Hockey league registration form to be eligible to play for registered teams. It is the captains responsibility to ensure that all players have completed the relevant forms prior to match day.
Players aged 18 and under
If you have players that are aged 18 or under, please ensure their parent/guardian completes the player registration form.
Umpire provision
Teams are expected to provide an umpire. Umpires will generally not umpire their own teams' match but the match preceding or following theirs on the same evening. Unless there is an odd number of games on an evening, where there may be the requirement to umpire your own game. These instances will be kept to a minimum. Umpire allocations will be shown on the fixture list.
Paying Match Fees
Match fee invoices will be sent monthly and must be paid promptly. Any team that commits to playing in a The Indoor Hockey League' league is liable in full for all the matches scheduled for that league in a season. If you are unsure of how much match fees you are liable for, the onus is on the team to find out from The Indoor Hockey League. The team organiser/s shall be held liable for any and all outstanding game fees should the team fail to pay. Should a team withdraw from the league before the end of the season and a replacement not found then in such instance the team shall be liable for the remaining fixture fees. We don't expect it to come to this but please note any outstanding payments will be passed on to debt collectors and the teams information passed onto the regions respective Credit Bureau for listing
No shows/cancellations
No shows and/or cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled match will mean a penalty fee imposed of the cost of the combined fixture fee of both sides. The offending team will also lose the match 10-0. The Indoor Hockey League reserves the rights to suspend teams that frequently cancel at short notice.

Indemnity
The team organiser/s, hereby irrevocably indemnifies and keeps indemnified The Indoor Hockey League, its directors, employees and third party agents against all loss (consequential or otherwise), damage, injury and or death, costs including legal costs, interest and expenses which The Indoor Hockey League, its directors, employees and third party agents may hereafter be held liable for, pay, incur or sustain in connection with any action, proceedings or claim being instituted against it by any party whomsoever, including the legal guardian of the minor child, directly or indirectly arising from or related to the use of all The Indoor Hockey League facilities in respect of all players involved in the above mentioned team including all minors. It is expressly agreed that The Indoor Hockey League, its directors, employees and third party agents in its sole discretion may resolve any action, proceedings or claims instituted against it and all teams including the legal guardian shall abide and perform accordingly.
The Indoor Hockey League: Limitation of Liability
The Indoor Hockey League will not be held liable for any injuries or damages (consequential or otherwise) that occurs to you, or your team member, your property or that of a 3rd party while playing or officiating in a The Indoor Hockey League match. Neither are any of the facilities that The Indoor Hockey League hires for the use of playing The Indoor Hockey League liable for any damages or injuries that may occur. It is up to the team & its members to decide whether or not the pitch or any facilities are too dangerous to continue to play. All teams are required to carry a first aid kit on them that can be used in the event of an injury.
The Indoor Hockey League: Spirit of the Game Player Standards
The Indoor Hockey League seeks to develop a friendly and sociable atmosphere of fun but competitive hockey between all teams involved.
Every player, official and spectator is responsible for ensuring that the atmosphere both on and off the pitch is one that promotes fun and fair play. Indoor Hockey is a team sport but each individual is an important component in the success of their team and therefore the league.
The object of The Indoor Hockey League; Spirit of the Game Player Standards is to promote fair play, discipline and a sense of sportsmanship to ensure that all involved can compete and enjoy their experience of The Indoor Hockey League.
The Indoor Hockey League advocates that players adhere to the below Spirit of the Game Players Standards both on and off the pitch during any Indoor Hockey League activity
Know the Rules: Take time to understand all the rules of Indoor Hockey (as per FIH rules) before participating and help those new to the game in learning them.
Accept Decisions of Umpires and Officials: The Umpire's decision is final and should not be disputed during the game. Concerns regarding umpiring decisions can be raised to The Indoor Hockey League administrators after the match. Under no circumstances is a player to swear at or abuse the Umpire in any way whatsoever. The main aspect of The Indoor Hockey League is to have fun!
Control Emotions: Play to enjoy the game and the company of others. No verbal abuse directed at any individual or equipment abuse will be tolerated.
Respect Others: Treat all players and property as you would like to be treated. Encourage your teammates Verbal attacks or foul language will not be tolerated. Vitally, remember that, without the opposition or umpire there is no game.
Any form of man handling or threats on the pitch or side lines will result in the player being banned for a minimum of three games. Repeated breaches of the Spirit of the Game Player Standards will also result in players being banned.
A player will be banned for life, for any violent conduct to another player, spectator or umpire. Criminal charges may also be laid.
Teams that have players continually breaching the Spirit of the Game Player Standards will also be asked to leave the league.
Only a Captain/Team Organiser may escalate any issue regarding matters that they feel do not comply with the Spirit of the Game Player Standards to the Indoor Hockey League administrators. Therefore, please could all players with grievances please refer to their team organiser.
By participating in The Indoor Hockey League all players and officials are deemed to have read and understood the Indoor Hockey League Rules and The Indoor Hockey Spirit of the Game Player Standards and are expected to adhere to them.

Team Registration: When you register with The Indoor Hockey League, we ask for the team organiser’s name, mobile number and email address only.
Individual Player registration: Team organisers will prompt players to register via a team link. At player registration we ask for name, email address, mobile number only. You have the ability to fill in extra fields about yourself e.g. Postcode, nationality, date of birth, gender. We reserve the right to add or remove these fields to improve experience & / or in accordance with any legal requirements.
Changes to this Privacy Statement
The Indoor Hockey League may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time. If we make any substantive changes to this policy, we'll announce it on our site.
Where Your Information is Stored
Your information is stored on our secure server. By using our site, you consent to this transfer. The Indoor Hockey League takes steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

- To confirm your registration and contact you: Once you've registered, we will send you a confirmation email acknowledging your registration. We may subsequently email you about your matches and other league related information.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
The Indoor Hockey League does not give, rent, lend or sell individual information to any third party. Furthermore, we will not disclose any information about individual users, except as described below.
- Third Party Service Providers: We may employ the services of third party providers to aid us in certain aspects of our operations (such as the distribution of our email products or conducting a survey for us). Depending on the services performed, some of these providers may be provided with user information. These contractors would be subject to confidentiality agreements which limit their use and disclosure of all information they obtain through their relationship with The Indoor Hockey League to related business only, consistent with this policy.
- Legal Requests: The Indoor Hockey League may disclose your personally identifiable information to protect the rights and property of The Indoor Hockey League as well as to comply with any applicable law or valid legal process. This includes, but is not to:
- Requests by Government Agencies.
